About Shawndrika Harston
Founder and Executive Director, Shawndrika Harston is a certified educator with over 15 years of experience in special education, individualized learning and school leadership. Her heart for children and deep belief in their potential led her to create a space where students are truly seen, supported and celebrated. Learning Without Limits Academy was born from a passion to serve those who needed it most. Shawndrika also had a desire to build a school deeply rooted in faith, love and purpose. Creating a safe, empowering and joyful space where every child can succeed was the result of dedication, faith, love and sacrifice.
Her Why
After watching too many children fall through the cracks, especially those from marginalized communities, Shawndrika built LWOL to provide what traditional schools couldn't: belonging, belief and a blueprint for success.
